"I work at North Shore University Hospital on their surgical/trauma intensive care unit. Our hospital is a level 1 trauma center and all level 1 trauma patients come to our unit for stabilization. We are also a transplant center where we take care of patients with liver and kidney transplants."

"North Shore University Hospital is a quarternary care center that receives the sickest of patient. In the ER, we are responsible for providing care to Level 1 Traumas, strokes, STEMIs, cardiac arrests, LVADs, post-organ transplant patients, and everything in between! It's a fast-paced environment that treats patients from birth to end-of-life. If you want to see a little bit of everything, work closely with different interdisciplinary teams, and be a big team player, the ER could be the place for you!"
